Smoked Butterscotch Blondies

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Cream butter and smoked sugar (1 cup) together until light & fluffy.
  3. Add extracts to butter and sugar. Mix.
  4. Add beaten eggs and mix well.
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mix gently by hand until dry ingredients are incorporated and no flour remains.
  6. Line pan with parchment paper. Pour mix into lined pan. Sprinkle remaining 2 tbsp  of smoked sugar over top of mixture.
  7. Bake 30-35 minutes. Insert toothpick into middle of pan and remove pan when toothpick comes out clean. Middle may be a little jiggly, that's okay as it will firm up as it cools.
  8. Cool blondies completely, then cut into squares.
